If your passion for cosmetology and other aspects of the beauty industry has inspired you to become a teacher, then we have an instructor training program for you at Crave Beauty Academy in Wichita, KS. Let us help you develop your teaching skills through the latest Pivot Point training tools and Mindful teaching program. The things you will learn include developing your own curriculum, leading classroom demonstrations, giving presentations, supervising services in student clinics, and other important skills that you will need to know as a teacher of cosmetology.
Our program is designed to prepare you to sit for the state board exam so you can achieve your beauty instructor license. Full-time and part-time schedules are available to help you achieve your beauty school instructor dreams, so you can get started with the enrollment process right away!
At Crave, we work hard, learn new skills, and have fun while we’re doing it. Check out these other benefits of studying at our beauty school:
Our instructor training program is 300 hours and can be completed through a full-time program or a part-time program. We strive to make it easy for you to get the training you need to achieve your beauty school teaching dreams.
Our program costs only $6.67/hour. When textbooks are added to the cost, your tuition investment is around $2,150. As an accredited beauty school, we are pleased to be able to offer financial aid to those who qualify. See our Financial Aid page for further information.
Applicants of the cosmetology instructor training program are required to have a current Kansas cosmetologist license. If you do not have your cosmetologist license, and you would like one, Crave Beauty Academy offers a full cosmetology program that provides all the training hours you need to sit for the state board exam.
Beauty school instructors can go on to teach classes at beauty schools in the state they were licensed in. However, not all graduates of an instructor training program go on to become beauty school instructors. It is possible to get a position in a professional salon or to work at a company that manufactures and/or distributes beauty products. Some graduates of the program may decide to focus on the business aspects of a beauty school instead of the teaching aspects. No matter what path you follow after graduation, we believe our education will help you advance in some way.
At this time, only the Wichita, KS campus has the cosmetology instructor training program. The program may not always be available, so it is a good idea to contact us first to ask when the next program begins.
